Alaska's Kenai River Salmon Fishing

Visit the Kenai River in May, June or July for your chance to catch that trophy King Salmon . These magnificent fish average 45 pounds and it is not uncommon to catch King's 60 pounds or larger. The world record Alaskan King Salmon weighing in at 97 lbs. 4 oz. In late July through September you'll have a shot at fighting Silver Salmon. Pound for pound, these are the best fighting sportfish!

Halibut Charters

We offer daily halibut charters from Ninilchik & Homer May through September. We use skippers that are avid fishermen with a wealth of experience in Alaskan waters. State of the art electronic equipment, including on board satellite navigation allows the skippers to navigate and return to the most prosperous fishing spots.

May, June and July are great months for King Salmon and Sockeye Salmon. The Kenai River is home to over 1 million mature Sockeye Salmon.

August & September offer spectacular Silver Salmon fishing. This acrobatic fish is one of our personal favorites. As these salmon migrate through the Kenai River and its tributaries to spawn, the trillions of eggs they deposit become a prime food source for predatory fish such as Rainbow Trout, Grayling, Dolly Varden and Artic Char. In

August, September and October the Rainbow Trout fishing is phenomenal. At the Alaska Kenai Adventure Lodge our guides take care of all fishing equipment and tackle you may need for the day. In addition a lunch will be prepared daily for your shore side enjoyment. Our guides are experts in fly fishing or spin casting, catering to the complete novice or avid angler. Our trips range from 6 to 10 hours and depart any time from 5:00 AM to mid morning.

  • 3% tax not included

**Cancellations more than 60 days prior to arrival will be subject to a $400 per person cancellation fee.  Final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival.  No refunds for cancellations within 60 days of arrival.**
